A Study of Pre-Attack Behaviors
An FBI study from the BAU unit examined different factors in the lives of 63 active shooters who committed their crimes between 2000 and 2013 and determined they exhibit an average of four to five warning behaviors to those they know before they attack.

LACKAWANNA MAN SENTENCED FOR ATTEMPTING TO PROVIDE SUPPORT TO ISIS
On August 28, 2014, a community member advised the FBI that the defendant spoke about violent jihad to various people in the Lackawanna community and it was common for Nagi to get into verbal complaints over his jihadi beliefs. Further investigation determined that the defendant pledged allegiance to ISIS and the leader of the terrorist group, Abu Bakr al Bagdadi.
His behavior was contemptuous and argumentative with ideological beliefs. Someone saw this and reported it. The simple act of "See something, say something" has unmeasurable benefits to possibly help prevent the next attack!
Threats are everywhere even in our backyards. Be vigilant, be aware... Know your surroundings, maintain situational awareness.
